what size die should i get?
i going to get a tubing bender so i can make a cage, rock sliders and maybe a bumper. i was thinking about getting the 1 3/4 die with a 5.5r. but i was also thinking about the 1.5 dies. would the 1.5 be to small for a cage and rock sliders. which have you all found to be best for an allaround die.
thanks
ps. it will be dom tubing

It is manual. I will add a hydro eventrually as I'm lazy and old. I might get a 1.5" and a 2" die, but 1.75" does fine for my stuff. You need to get a good notcher too.
With 1.75" tubing, 1.5" tubing slugs it well and is good for bracing (straight pieces).
Get good hole saws for your notcher.
I am going to put mine on a separate table attachment when I do hydro so I can roll it around, but right now it is on a stand.
Well worth the money if you are going to build sliders, bumpers and do a cage. Then you will have paid for it and can start making money doing stuff for other folks.
