Why not put the uppe link on the diff?

Why not put the uppe link on the diff?
Plus, putting the link higher into the engine space was not an option.

I thought mine was tall It's all about trial and error, you have no clue how tall it's going to be untill it is all done. If yours acts the same way that mine did you will have to have a steering stabilizer and probably a sway bar depending on how stiff your suspension turns out. By the looks of your draglink angle, you will have bumpsteer.

Bumpsteer should be a function of draglink to panhard angle and mounting locations. They look close enough for me.
I assumed you would make some sort of tower over the diff so you have regular steel to weld too. Geometrically I would put it where you did.
Flex pics to follow from CO, right? Not sure the thing has even left the garage yet.

Indeed, this is not the final height yet. I understand the bumpsteer concept, and that is why I had Poly Performance overnight me another set of coils to bring the 4Runner down to a sensible ride height. Poly sent the correct boxes, with the wrong coils in the boxes, great job.
More pics have been posted.

If so, you can still make it.

More pictures, this time with the pan hard attached. Again, this is not the final ride height. I'm still waiting on the correct coils from Poly Performance.

me too. I just pulled the rear axles and noted that the bearings are loose. I mentioned to my wife a few months back (when following her in another vehcile) that it looked like the rear tirs were wobbling a bit. Even though I was planning on putting in rear disc brakes, it looks like I may have to go the full-floater route. I'm killing the 1/2 ton bearings...

I was thinking about going this route, but I'd have to disable my ABS...... which I not yet ready to do. Another option is the 4th gen disc brake set-up, that's the option I will persue some day.........

Put at least a Dana 44 in the rear. But if you are going to do that, might as well put the beef in the rear. Put the Dana 60 in back. You will sure like that fact that you will not break. Upndair has liked that, since he use to break every outting. Now he just sits back and drives.
