a REAL front axle truss for us sas guys
I;ve posted this on marlin and pirate as well. I was waiting until i collected all my pics to post but i figured there was something i should share and it comes in the form of a sick front toyota axle truss system/diff guard. I finally got it welded on the axle and cant wait to go bash on some rocks. I also cut out the bottom of the axle housing under the diff and welded in a piece of 1/4 just for hard slams. Heres some pics. You can get these at
www.DefeliceInnovations.com.
There are some better pics at that link

Yes there is a piece of 1.5 dom that fits around the drain plug and is welded there then the truss fits over it and welds on to the front of the truss. Its sleeved for the guys running u bolts and there is a 1.5 piece dom cut in halfs. This keeps the truss from filling up with water or mud. The piece of 1.5 for the drain plugs I.D is enlarged to excpet a 24mm socket but i would suggest but the allen bolt set up through the vendor of your choice.

WOW.
I love how the steering stops are reinforced as well. I would be worried about warpage, even with their specific instructions.
I like the look too. Very mean and complements your hangers.
Very cool!

No, it is all stitch welded and transfered from top to bottom. There are welding instructions on the install direction on the site. If you follow those there will be no issues with warping.
