Cowl, fender .. whats the difference its all good .. my fender was ..or is already beat up and been repaired ,somewhat with bondo.

plus i have a couple nice ones just in case..

ohh i did work on this thing a bit today .. along with finishing the dual battery, installing the pa for the CB.. and removing my radiator .. and trying to fix it .. ended up poking a hole in one of the tubes , got mad and started melting the core with my torch..


time to order a new one ..
damn !

this will house a K&N filter i ordered ..
ended up using a drain grate deal from home depot for the mold . was the perfect size to the oem toyota one .

The green one in the pictures.

still need to sand it and drill some holes or something for the air..
still havent decided what to do about that..

ive honestly never thought about making one from fiberglass before

thanks ..

1 gallon resin $35 .. still have a little less than half left
3 bags 9sq ft each fiberglass cloth $7 each .. still have a little left of the last bag.
about $60 all bought at home depot.
and alot of time ..
i actually bought this stuff for another project i was going to do a while back but ended up not doing it .. finally found something to do with it .

be sure and let us see what your making man .. i was using the cloth type but i think the other kind the one with the little pieces (dont know what its called)would work better for the corners and such.
