extended driveshafts
Im getting an 86 4runner with the allpro 5 in sas, and im going to need a new front driveshaft for it. What are my options for this? Should i just go with marlins extened shaft kit or should i get a custom one made? What are the costs involved with custom shafts?
Thanks,
Andy

After all the problems my buds had w/ Tom Woods I went with High Angle Driveline and couldn't be happier. Shafts are pricey though. If you don't need anything fancy just a longer shaft I would just find a driveline shop to lengthen it

A minimum of an 8" slip spline up front and get a custom driveshaft built. Do it right and figure to spend $250. I had custom front and rear ones built/balanced w/ a CV joint in the rear and 8" slip spline up front and it was $400 parts, $100 labor.
