Customizing a MC front bumper and custom front skid plate fab
I picked up a Marlin Crawler front bumper on my way home from Vegas and decided that I wanted to add a little bit to it. It just seemed a little too open. I'm workin on cutting out plates to weld on and close the top off and give it a more finished look and a place to mount my lights. First impressions on the bumper though are that it is BEEF. Can't wait till I can throw a winch on there. Oh and I already did the side marker light mod so no turn signals on the bumper so I'll be shaving those tabs off as well. And eventually, I'll be making my own front skid plate but I'm not gunna start on that for a little while. Here's what I have so far.
I'll update the thread as I progress....

very nice. I like the plates you're putting in they look real similar to the allpro bumper on my truck. You'll dig them to i always put tools on them if i'm working on my engine. It's a goo place to set a soda or have lunch on the trail if you're without a table. Loved your e-locker thread. It made me jealious since i only put a lsd in my diff when i went to 4.88's.
that's the only good pic i have of the plates on the bumper but you get the idea.

I've still got some touching up to do, and repaint it, but it was about to rain here and I wasn't aware of that so I wanted to get it to a point where I could paint it and leave it for a couple days without it rusting...I think it makes it look better, more of a finished look
