I have made everything for it, tire carrier, front bar, rocksliders, etc. My fiance is already throwing a fit about it. I have actually considered a small rope step, but I know she would slam it in the door all the time.

I found a pic of my grandpa while we were working on it. Looks like he's takin it easy.

what kind of fender flares are those? i can see you trimmed the front fenders, but those flares look sr5 stockish.

Thanks for all the compliments. They are bushwacker flares, which are very similar to the stock ones.

Sure The 37's are on there in the pics. They look like 35's with the lift and the fenders trimmed.

Through the whole process I was thinking that yotatech should start a section for SAS, like TTORA. It seems that more and more people on the forum are starting SAS's. The members on yotatech always seem to be more helpful and cooler about answering questions that may seem dumb. Some of the other forums have people that act like they were born with all knowledge of 4x4's and never had to ask a question.

that's why i asked, i thought they looked like 35's too.... damn that thing is big, what's your measurement from the top of the arc, on the front fender to the gound?

If I remember right I think it was about 48". When the spring s are flat I have about 2" between the fender and the tire, so I'm going to try to drop it a couple of inches. Hopefully then when it is flexed all the way the tire will go into the fender well.

Mine is 42" and that's tall enough for me. Honestly I was more concerned with strength than height.

If mine was another 1/2" higher it would not fit in the garage.

I really didn't want it as high as it is, I got done put the tires on and I have the 44044's on, but I think I'm going to go to the junk yard and get some stock waggy springs and try those out. As of right now the top of my rack it about 7'9", I need a 8' Garage door, wait I don't even have a garage :cry:

What makes going higher less strong? I don't quite get that statement. Less height makes for better COG but strength, the method of attaching leaf springs to an axle is the same as well as attaching spring hangers and shackle hangers to the frame.

Nothing. My priorities were CTM's & Cro-Mo axles. I had no problem with the amount of lift I had with the 315's and IFS.
