Alright, here's the shy girl. Tentatively named "Big Echo" (you'll see why)
Still mainly stock, but she gets to the beach, the snow and back
without much trouble as is, so its all up from here.
Cept for that saggy yota "diaper" bottom -- reminds me of a two year old with a full sack...



I confess, though I started out looking for a Taco/Pickup
I settled on the Runner cause my dog, Echo,
can't manage to stay in the bed of most trucks (he's fallen, jumped or otherwise bailed twice,
once almost hanging himself on the way down.(Cute but clumsy as hell
) Plus I do like the extra space and the "seats up/seats" down trick...

Speaking of... I honestly wasn't thinking this when
I saw "Big Echo," but I had it for about a week when
some ladies walking by saw Echo sticking his head out
the back and said "Oh look, the dog matches the truck!"



At first I was a bit pissy. This was not an intentional thing.
I am not that much of a prissy-girl-snob as to buy the
dog to match the truck,
or vice versa. I can't stand chicks behavin like that.

But they really do look alike --and i really couldn't have
planned it better if i tried, so now its kinda funny.
Hey, maybe yota can start offering "canine accessory" packages --
dogs do love yotas...
And I can always tell my yota from the two other
gold ones in town (its a small town)
by the "little echo" sticking out the back.

Oh yeah, and for the record (just to be contrary)
I actually like the pinstripe.

She's bone stock though (all power and no CD player! AGGHHH)
so I'm always open to suggestions and next steps!

The Wishlist:
*A CD PLAYER/CHANGER (NOTHING HAPPENS BEFORE THIS --
THE DAILY HAUL WITHOUT IS GOING TO KILL ME)
*Keyless entry
*Supersized Cargo Mat (one that covers entire cargo area with
seats folded down -- anyone got a suggestion on where to find such a thing?)
*PIAA fog lights (we get mad fog up here in the summer) which will,
of course make it absolutely necessary to get some sort of brush/grille
guards, so i might as well add taillight guards, you know, for continuity's sake
*CB
*32's -- hehehe...provided we can avoid the dreaded "tread rub" ...
*Yakima roof setup (basket or bike -- though the swing away hitch
mount bike rack is so appealing...)
*To say, "Adios" Running Boards and "Bienvenido" Sliders!
*Springs - See ya diaper bottom...
*Shocks - Speed bumps beware!
*Headlight/Tailight/signals covers
*Headers: I was cravin NWOR headers but was warned that might
not be legal in CA --anyone know anything about this?
*So ,I don't forsee myself NEEDING a winch, but does that mean I
can't put it on my wishlist anyway? (we'll put this toward the end of
the list, right before the dog biscuit despenser in the dash --
per Echo's request)

and other stuff that I see and can't live without -- as determined...
