my name is joseph i recently got out of the military about a year and a half ago and have been going to school in so cal at universal technical institute of automotive and diesel tech. im originally from Illinois and have no intentions to move back to the flat lands haha. just had a few questions about the area and wondering if there is anyone that can help.

1. how is the job market for an ase certified automotive technician? looking to find a dealership or maybe an off road shop

2. what is the average price for renting a house and what would be a good area around grand junction?

3. how active is yota wheeling in that area? i was in ouray, co about a month ago for a wedding and saw a lot of jeeps. i didnt get to wheel out there but i know my 92 yota pickup would have loved it. I really enjoy wheeling with the so cal guys. so im looking for a group to wheel with


i drive a 92 yota pickup 4wd with a 22re on 32" falken wildpeaks and pretty much stock everything else for now have a lot of plans for it in the future just need a place to settle down
if i could get some answers. im looking at moving sometime next year
