I am in Mission and have spend some time around the chiliwack river valley. I hiked cheam and drover around the logging roads up there. Too bad the road going up at bridal falls is washed out. It used to be a nice ride up and over and the down the chilliwack river valley. It is possible to go over from the chilliwack river valley and reach the view point on cheam. There you can see the whole valley.

You'll likely still hit snow up to the view point. I haven't been in the valley this year yet. It's about time I take some time and go there.

Where do you consider the view point? Can you get to the Cheam trailhead yet? (by this I mean do I use my ol' ladies tracker at 40mpg or get the old TOY out to play?) Always hit and miss this time of year...

Hi, New to this site from Vancouver Island. Recently traded 96 Taco 4x4 for 01 4Runner LTD dut to growing family. Absolutely love it!
18" centerlines arrive tomorrow for summer use, currently sound-deadening and stereo tweaking.
I have made t/b spacer for the Taco, now to go on 4Runner along with FIPK.
Planning on lowering 2" and wondering if anyone else local is interested in 2" lowering springs, as I may order a few sets??

New guy here. I'm from Mission, B.C. and i'm trying to figure this site out.
1992 4runner v6 stock height with 31 bfg ko. Looking for one and a half -2 inch lift coils for rear. Any suggestions?? Do I have to replace the rear shock after I replace the coils? Let me know. thanks., Denis

I live there too, when I did the coils on my 91 4runner, I replaced the shocks. When you lift the 4runner, the shocks are not long enough for the down travel. Also some new shocks will make the lifted vehicle handle a lot better. I ran mine with the original Toyota shocks for a couple of days until the right ones came in, that was downright scary.
Tires plus is a good place for shocks. If you tell Dalton (Manager, I think) that your vehice will be lifted, he can get you the appropiate shocks.
The best guy in town to deal with is Tom and TLE 4x Fab. He has some very interesting projects going on, and is good to deal with.
