Im down for a wrenching day.

@Citrus: I think I saw you the other day, not sure, but if your Runner is black then I may have seen you. I was working on my buddy's blue Toyota truck w/ Hanneman fenders.

It used to be you pay one time at a PicknPull, and you can go to any, but now you have to pay at every PicknPull you go to.

Might go pick up a rear bumper from CurlyRacer tmo, or Thursday. I may need someones help holding bolts.

he's still got more of those?! geez...that sucks - looks like the market for those really went south for him even with the ridiculously low price he was offering last time i checked. i dunno why nobody wanted them since even at full price it was the best deal on a decent plate bumper you would ever find without making it yourself. i like mine, but i made him add side protection which is prolly why they weren't selling.

citrus - call up PnP and ask them

is the All Toyota wrecker in Rancho really expensive compared to PnP or something? seems like they'd be a better place to find stuff since they only part out Yotas.

Yeah I think he has like 6 or 7 left. My buddy and I picking up 2 rear bumpers when its ready. And yeah I agree on the price too, it looks very nice and its affordable. Now only if he made sliders, and a front bumper......

Are you talking about TAP? They are a little more expensive compared to PnP. I would go to TAP knowing its all Toyotas and it'd be a gaurantee that I find the parts I need.

Daves Offroad has alotta parts too. Very good prices also.

Curley'll make that stuff for you if you want it. i WAS going to have him continue my armor and make me some sliders to match the tube work on the bumper, but honestly i got tired of trying to deal with him and i'll go another route. i have no doubt that he can do the stuff and that it will be quality work at a decent price, but come on guy...if someone's paying you to do some custom work, you better make some time to do it and make time to meet with the customer so they can tell you what they want, and do it in a timely manner like any other shop would do - especially if the customer literally lives within 1mile of you. i think a lot of the issues was that his business is on the side, he fabs his stuff outta his dad's garage, and he's pretty young. all that aside, in the end i have the rear bumper i needed for my truck.

Hmmm.... I see. Well we'll see what happens. He still has to finish the bumper and then he'll let me know. It looks good from the pics, I guess I gotta see it in person.

Besides the side armor, does yours look like the one he posted up?

i'm sure your experience with him will be fine. i think mine had a lot to do with timing as he had a lot of other stuff going on at the time.

here's mine - i originally wanted a Demello-style tacoma bumper, so i had him do similar side protection with the body of his bumper. even if i didn't have him add the tube work i would have bought the bumper just for the main body to use as a base in the future when i get a welder.

That looks BA. Yeah I kinda wanted the side protection like yours but i think the bumper hes selling will do for now. The bumper is bolted on right? Or is it welded.

@Citrus: Thats good to know man, is it in west sac? I know a guy in west sac that bends leafsprings and ubolts and such. Its called Sacramento Springs. Good prices too
