I have an Aussie Locker in front and a Detroit Soft Locker in the rear of my 2nd Gen 4Runner.
The Soft Locker is cool, no noises and you get used to very quickly, but the Aussie is awesome, no tire noise on closed turns, smooth...

Hopefully it wont be a big mistake, but for only 240$ bucks I just cant resist.

this past Sunday - took me about 4 hours but I was changing to the longer brake lines and also learning as I went. throw several beer's in there too !
My runner is automatic - so the locker is not very noticeable on the street.
I managed to make it pop one time but I was driving in circles in a grocery store parking lot. Other than the pull on the steering wheel when you gas it turning at a stop light - You will never know that it is there
I have not had a chance to wheel with the rig yet but I will be at Tellico next week for the 4 runner Jam. I was expecting a lot more noise and quirks -
and maybe to swap this thing in and out just for wheeling trips. With the
unexpected manners of this locker - it will stay in my daily driver !
Great price and not that hard to do ! I'm sure that I'll have more to add after next week.
