Tow Hook Replacement with Tow Jaw?

Anyone have any experience with these recovery/tow mounts?

http://www.landroverstuff.com/dixonbate.htm

I want to know if the 3.5 ton tow jaw will swap out with the factory tow hook on the front bumper of my runner. But i can't seem to find any dimensions for it. They are kinda pricey, but nice. I have seen a lot of loand rovers use them, as they were actually made for military vehicles (LRs) back in the day. This would be a good solution for recovery points, better than the hook and other eyelet, until I can afford an ARB or similar, then relocate the mounts to the new bumper or to the rear of the vehicle or to the side of the frame. What are some other ideas for replacing the hook on the front?

Now I'm even more jealous of the guys with ARB's and TJM's.

No doubt!

I picked up a pair of weld-on d-ring mounts. The mounts and d-rings were a total of $50, plus the cost to get them welded on, $25...HEY! I'm still ahead.
Eventually, I'll repeat the process up front.

I finally contacted a guy about the dims for these and they are pretty big and very strong, but he was also selling them for a lot cheaper than other places I saw. he wanted GBP 27.00, about 40 some odd US. Not too bad, especially if you can do the install yerself.
