Yeah, I was going to order myself a new spare in BFG A/T and the tire shop told me the price of the old ones and new ones. A 33x10.50 in the new style was like $175 I think thats what he said, but ordered the old style.

I hope they will stay pretty much the same, they are too good to mess with.

Here is the article Four Wheeler magazine had about them...Looks just like new sizes. Thats what BFG's website is saying too. They look the same as the old ones. Oh well BFG's kick butt anyhow.

Dont know if you can read it but its the best I know how to do sorry.

I looked all over their website and found nothing but new sizes... so ???

I only have one personal experiance with the AT's, and it was HORRIBLE... I had 4 33x10.50's, after 10K miles Costco had replaced 3 of them for sidewall failures, and the 4th was over half bald at 10K. I am positive I had a bad batch, but I still returned them to Costco, hell of a warrenty/return policy. I am going to be giving them another chance on my taco. I LOVE the M/T's I have on my 92, but dont need a M/T on my taco....

I do like the sound of the 245/75/75... if it looks like chains wont fit my 07 on 265/70/17 I will probally end up with the 245's...

The new tire is indeed different, though the tread pattern is the same.

The change has to do with how they actually build the tire, as far as i was told. it is going to be put together in pieces now, rather than one entire mold. This supposedly gives a better, smoother ride. They argue that it makes the tire stronger, but were unable to convince me about that over the phone.

Needless to say, for my crappy IFS ride on my 87, i don't need a smoother ride, and for the $50 or so price jump per tire, i was kindof pissed.

BTW, BFG also does not make custom sizes, nor are they interested at this time in producing a 35x10.50R15. (The reason for my call when i found all of this out)

Could you post some pictures of the new muds, or any info on them?

That's only the one size - all the "normal" sizes are still the same.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure that size, like troy said, is the only one where there is a difference, and thats like the "dub" size or something.
