Grill Guard- how much to pay
I emailed the owner of a wrecked 97 runner from Ebay, and asked if I could just buy the grill guard off of their truck, and they responded: "how much do you offer"

Thats the runner. What do you think a reasonable offer is? I dont know the brand of it for sure; nor what quality it is outside of those pictures. Thanks

You don't want a grill guard. They cause more damage in minor accidents. Not even worth the shipping charge in my opinion. You are far better off going with a whole new bumper such as the T-17.

How does an arb or tjm cause any less damage in the same minor accident? I know that they are better quality and usually provide better approach angles, but they are way $$ and dont give the same aesthetics that some people like with a brush guard. That said, I picked mine up in person for $80.

New T17's aren't much more than a new "quality" grill guard anyway.
