2WD lift kits???

I am a newbie when it comes to this stuff but I have a 1998 4Runner 2WD and I am in need of new shocks and was wondering if anybody could reccomend a lift kit for it. I don't need any major lift. just something to give it a little more rugged look with some bigger wheels and tires.. I am looking for a 2-4 inch lift for it. If anybody can reccomend some stuff, it would be greatly appreicated.

After much debate and a ton of reading on Yotatech, I've decided to go with stock 2WD Bilsteins and a Revtek lift kit. My buddy will be putting this in for me today (don't have a clue myself on how to do this). As soon as I get the lift in, I'll post pics.

FYI, my other choices were as follows:
1. Tundra setup with OMEs (do a search and you'll see a ton of stuff);
2. Coilovers in the front and Performance Product springs in the rear with 4WD Bilsteins (coilovers cost a ton but allow you to adjust the height to match the rears);
3. Performance Product springs with 4WD Bilsteins all around (many have this setup and as you are a 2WD, you will get extra lift from the 4WD components; cost was in between #1 and #2);
4. Suspension lift kit such as Revtek or Daystar. I went with Revtek for the 3" lift kit for less than $300. The Daystar has the 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" selections for about $250. You can use these lift kits w/o replacing any other parts. The following link will take you to Steve Schaeffer's site (Sonoransteel.com) for the Daystar lift kits. He also has been very helpful on the site when I've pm'd him. Thanks Steve. http://www.sonoransteel.com/store_daystar_products.html

This has been my download of my choices. As others have said, there is a ton of info on the board and everyone has been great with my dumb questions.

I got them from a buddy that works at PP for $260 for all four. Just put them in today and they are so much better than stock. I've read how they can be stiff but after driving about 50 miles, I can't really tell. What I can tell is that when I hit a bump in the road, I don't feel the truck all over the place like I did with stock shocks.
