My 1990 Landcruiser needs help

Hi, I'm new to this. I have a 1990 Landcruiser which runs pretty well. However, the paint job is starting to rub off/peel off. Can anyone recommend a place I should go to or what kind of paint I should tell them to use? I'd like to avoid going to a dealership since they charge way too much. Also, I need parts for the framework of the headlight area. Your knowledge on all this car stuff would really help me out. I'm just a girl newbie around here.

Thanks!

Hey absolutejenn,

Welcome to the forum!!!

I just can't believe that nobody responded to you since the day you posted this thread. Hey, I would not ignore you.

Now, you said the paint is starting to feel off/rub off? What part of the LC where the paint is feeling off? Is it the whole body? If I were on your shoes, I'll start shopping around through your local yellow pages, get some price quote and see which paint shop is cheaper but paint with quality. Ask around your neighborhood, or drive around and stop by on some paint shops and see the quality of their paints and paint jobs.

And for the frame on the headlights area, again use your yellow pages to look for salvage yards/junk yards cuz they have phones to that you can call them see if there are any Cruisers in there yard or try this: http//www.yotayard.com Give them a call or shoot them an e-mail to see if they can help you out.

No matter what happen, don't get rid of that Land Cruiser of yours, that LC is the best assault all terrain and go anywhere vehicle you got. I hope you have the front and rear locking differentials. Keep up the maintenance and it will run forever.

Let me know if you have any more questions. Good Luck!

Noel
