Who has or is using the Split Second TMC 1.1 Timing Map Controller?

Is anyone using this or has used it? Im thinking of buying one from someone and wondered how well it works and if I can shut it off when I need to get smogged. I cant get a full fuel kit right now but am putting in cooler plugs and tstat. I am just wondering the ease of use and if this will be worth it to buy

So you just want to control timing right now? Most of us use the SS FTC, (fuel and timing controller). The timing control isn't very hard to tune. You could always down load a neutral map for going back to stock.
