Yeah its got a good amount of work on it left. Gotta add side tie in bars, then the winch mount in the center will tie in the sides and the middle, then some plate to cover up some gaps, then finally the tube hoops.

This is what it should look like.
Green = plate
red = tube

Why 4 hell 500's why not just 2 lights that are superior? Unless it's a budget restriction. Like what you say? Oh I dont know I seem to like the LightForce brand myself. There are no other lights that compare, I was just curious. I used to have 4 500's myself.

They worked ok the light patterns were a bit spotty, now the PIAA 580's mounted on top of the bumper were very nice too. Still love the lightforce better than anything I've tried, and I've tried more than most. Bumper looks good though the side impact thing worries me.

A little bit of budget, and i found them at a really good price 49.99 a pair, and i have used them before on my last 4wd. I am gonna have the middle two point straight ahead, then the outside ones skewed off the sides, so combined with the headlights i get a very wide light angle.

Eventually i will upgrade the bulbs in the 500's then late put them on the roof, then get some lightforces or some 4000's.

I am surprised no one has said it blocks the radiator flow to much and you will overheat. I have had the 4 hellas on there for about 4 months and no problems in this heat.

I have also considered building my own bumper but (time) is always an issue and I don't want to spend all my spare time building a bumper as cool as I think it could be.

Me and my fabricating friend have worked on my bumper for about 3 days, for a total of about 12 hours. We need one more good day of work then it will be done, then another half day to paint it. Mine is being worked on slowly, whenever we both can get together and build, plus my fab friend has been sick recently.

TJM i would recommend for funtionality and looks, the integrated fog lights would be a plus for sure and it would save the headlights more than the others.

I vote for TJM, but then again I'm partial to them

Belize, integrated fog lights? Do you mean the ability to add lights to the TJM?

Yeah someone tried to tell me they would block the air flow, My light forcesbut the truck is fine, not to mention the radiator is huge, I have no needle movement on temp with the addition of the lights. Though with a custom bumper you get added air flow from the bottom so there won't be any restriction on the cooling of your vehicle.

I cant believe no one has chimed in with the infamouse T-13 by TJM. I have one that I got from steve from sonoran steel and I love it. I do have some driving and fogs coming in the near future from PIAA.
Yes I dont always have it this clean, I do utilize all the bedliner on her.

I like the Hanson. I looks like it would offer good protection and not weigh a ton.

Well after long debate have finally ordered my bumper and here is what I decided to go with

This is the bentup winch bumper that was designed for the toyota tacoma. However I talked to Emily at bentup and she is sending the bumper with no mounting brackets attached so I can build my own (so it will fit the runner). Because I ordered the bumper with no mounting brackets and no PC the bumper only cost $550 before shipping (shipping was another $120) Total $670. My winch is here and my synthetic winchline that I ordered from Winchline.com should be here soon. The bumper ships out Monday morning from CA. Something else I'm considering is when the bumper showes up maybe throwing a stinger on it like this

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Anthony
