What should I do about a front bumper?

Cbi
If I don't get one of the guys in the shop I work at to build me one, I believe I am going to go with a CBI bumper.
It also helps that they are just 50 miles away. I have seen their work on a couple of local trucks, and I am very impressed.

For the love of all that is holy and just in this world; Why?
You can tell it is defiantly built for off road, I mean just look at the tires on that taco. It has the optional winch mount for those adventurous drivers that may find themselves stuck on a speed pump. I mean there is so much weight on the front end that it looks as though the lower control arms are angled up.

go custom on it. Here is what mine looks like so far, its needs a good amount of work, but this is just the basic base for it. Should be done in a few weeks. Plus its gonna be a hell of a lot lighter than an arb or tjm.
When its done it will have a winch mount, a stinger, and some hoops for the headlights. Then 4 hella 500's are going in the middle.

Crolision, your bumper is looking good. Make sure you through some gussets on there where you have the elevation change on the top tubes. The flat bar it looks like you are using to make the joint won't hold up to a side impact.

I have the T-15 bumper and if I had to do it again, I'd get the ARB, but it all boils down to personal preference, as most bumpers that have been posted have the function your looking for

Yeah I agree. You can definitely tell that the truck is owned by a cheese-dick. The bumper looks completely hideous with those rims and without a lift it sags. The bumper it's self looks pretty stout. I'm sure it could hold it's own. The price and weight are heavy though. I was just joking about them becoming the new king of bumpers. The ARB takes the cake IMO. I had the TJM and it seemed pretty thin compared to the BentUP. Plus the TJM had the bolt on ends. For the price the Bentup can't be beat. You can get a Bentup w/ winch mount for practically the same price as the TJM 17 shipped. CBI would be my other choice. I almost bought this bumper here:
matts plate bumper
price code B $629 + shipping
But instead I bought a Bentup used here: http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77141
New: Bentup w/Winch mount: $600.00 + shipping. Basic: $450 + shipping (no winch mount, but does have a square hitch.)

Here is the new homemade bumper made by the guy above to replace the Bentup:
More on it here:http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthrea...t=bumper+build
(BTW this guy does some serious wheeling as you can see from the picture above!)

Not a 3rd gen... A bit of a drive... and/or high shipping cost.... but another bump for BentUp. They were a pleasure to do business with.
