Do you have state run offroad facilities?
We (midwesterner's) officially have a new place to wheel! The Redbird Riding area has officially opened!
This place is near DUGER, INDIANA, and "so far has 28 miles of trail on the 680 acres of forrested land" this from my local newspaper.
The park is STATE owned, and operated, and only costs $10 to ride... no matter how many passengers!
The only catch is it is only opened on weekends until (hopefully) things pick up!
so fella's, looks like we got us some wheelin to do!

i would love to go, but i have a 5 hour drive there, and i dont want to take the chance of breaking out there, and having to limp home that far. not to mention being crammed in that regular cab on the highway (which it hates) for that long. now, when i get a tow rig............

I am working on ways to convine our local municipality to create a designated OFf highway recreation area on some old logging areas they own. Rather than it going to waste it could serve a good purpose. Having seen the success another town had up North with doing that I am hoping the CRD will see the light.
