A way to really clean the floor mats

Mine were loaded with dirt and I slammed them with a hammer about 30 times and dirt was still flying out. My sister suggested to just throw them in the washing machine. So I did, and it worked great. Some of you may have already known this, but I thought I'd share.

I did this for my other cars. Don't do it too much cause mine were starting to rip apart. Have the nice heavy rubber in the Runner now.

Another way is to take them to the DIY carwash and pressure wash them. Then use a Rug Doctor on them. As good as new!

I was thinking about getting some Husky Liners. There's a really good deal here.

Anyone have these?

I have the heavy duty floor mats for front and back. Actually, my truck (got it preowned) came with the Sport Edition floor mats, Husky floor mats, and some other floor mats. I've been considering selling the two extra sets. Not sure yet, though.

I just went to Pep Boys and bought some nice black rubber mats that are just as good as Husky's and they were under half the price of the Husky Liners.
