YES, it's my understanding that the rears are the same....front are the ones that are dif.

Cool, I just placed a will call order and will be picking them up tomorrow. I can post pictures tomorrow so people can compare them to "non-TRD" Bilsteins.

I am getting them tomrorow, but that doesn't mean I will be installing them tomorrow. I don't know how to install them, so I might be looking to having someone install them for me, or maybe some nice YotaTech members are willing to help me?

dued, I'd fully help...except...the mileage btwn us is staggering!
I'm sure it's not a hard job...it's just a matter of being informed and having the right tools at hand.
Do you need a spring compressor to do the shock install?

i just picked up a pair of front and rears today at cabe toyota! they said they still had 4 more pairs for 4runners

they are good stuff! I'm really enjoying the ride. The PP lift springs I got put me a bit higher than expected (1 3/4" higher than stock) but I'm diggin' that too!

How much firmer are they compared to stock, is the ride harsh at all?
How much did you have to let go for the installation.

good question on firmness....my shocks were PLAYED out...they had 117k on them.....so....the only other "stock" 4runner I've driven for any length of time is my mom's '99 (with like 48k on it) .... and that thing is like S M O O T H.....so in comparison to that I would say it's a good bit more firm - and with my new springs (and sway bars waiting for quick disconects!) I've not done any really hard turning - so....I'm gonna say it's gonna corner nice and stay standing vs the lean it used to do...and the "after bounce"!

SO...what you may have read about on this and other forums about the Bil's holds true....they are more firm.

As far as installation... .....only thing it set me back was a Saturday morning and afternoon of mine and Bobzemuda's! Not too bad....I LEARNED quite a bit about the 4runner's suspension components....what to do....and what not too do....and some little tricks at aren't really obvious!

ps....I would not call the ride "harsh"....just more "firm".....only thing harsh is the occational BUMP from my sway bar being still disconnected!
