There is more than one 3" ToyTec lift:

Why would you think it would be 2"?

Because the 99's sit one inch taller than the 96-98.

but still that means after the 3" lift it would have only lifted my truck 2" over what i had since my 99 springs are already 1" higher. Although if i get the kit that has the 3" spacers in front then i would get the correct amount of lift but only in the front which i would think would also cause problems since the total lift would be 4" instead of 3" for the front springs, this would also negate the diff drop since i think its only 1" of drop and cause more problems with ripping up CVs

Speaking of which waskilly do you know why the OME 3" lift that you guys sell don't come with diff drop?

Toytec's OME kit also doesn't come with the diff drop.

Whats up with that some kind of agreement or something?

You don't want more than 3" of total suspension lift on account of the CVs.
If you want more lift, add a body lift.
I am a Toytec dealer that is why they are the same.
You can add a diff drop.
