No contest. They are a lot of dough, but the KO's are the best in snow, period.
I live at 8000 feet and I see all kinds of snow, from super dry powder to slush.
They are load range D, and have super tough sidewalls. They last a long time, and they look great. They handle well in rain too, unlike M/T's. What more could you want?

I'll swear till my dying day by BFG ATs. Here in Ohio they were the perfect tire in the snow, dry roads, and dirt. The higher load range rating makes the tires stand up taller and I loved the way my Nissan handled with the 31x10.50s. Winter time was play time! I had a hard time breaking them loose when they were new. I was very pleased with the tread wear as I used to do a lot of highway driving. I felt I got my money out of them.
Not having as much to spend on my Trooper I went with the Toyo Open Country ATs. Nice street tire I guess, but I am not as happy with them as I was with the BFGs. I'll go back to the BFG AT's when it's time for new ones. They are slightly noisier than street tires but you quickly become accustomed to it.
They look as good as they perform.

For me, I prefer the BS Revo's. Had KO's and Michelin LTX A/T's and the Revo's were the BEST BALANCED tires out of the bunch. The KO's had a slight edge off-road and the LTX's had much better tire wear, but the Revo's preformed well off-road, in rain, snow, sleet, etc., and had good tire wear.

I've had BF AT's and I liked them - I think they're definitely the best looking tire, but I absolutely loved my REVO's in the rain and snow. They did just fine off-road, as I never had any traction issues, just like my old BF's. For all-purpose, with a lot of rain/snow I would get the REVO's again, hands down. If you do some searches on the REVO, you'll see a lot of guys swear by them, just like the BF's. Nothing against any other tires, but that's my vote.
