Wow, these are nice looking!
I'd like to know how you are supposed to fish the Thorley crossover pipe between the firewall and over the bellhousing to the other side though. Even with a 1" BL I couldn't salvage the stock crossover during removal during my Edelbrock header install because of the angles and limited space. Like everyone else, I had to sawzall it off.
Looking at the 3.4 Thorley kit picture and knowing what we have to work with in regards to space, I just don't see anyone is going to be able to pull it off.

With regards to removing the stock cross over, it is often a misconception that you have to cut out the stock one. Without going too much into detail, this is about how the instructions will show:
There are four bolts on the backside on the transmission that are in a yolk. These four bolts must be removed. Once removed take a large and long pry bar and wedge between the engine block and the firewall and gently push the engine forward away from the firewall, this will pretty much drop the unbolted crossover on your toes. That is the key to the crossover. The other is in the design of the driver's side within the loop that was made. This hoop allows the header to slip past the steering column without trouble. And the passenger side will be nothin compared to the others.

Keep in mind that this is for Ceramic and Chrome coated Stainless Steel headers. The TRD ones are stainless steel but are not coated... JBA's coated headers exceed these prices significantly.

1. rearviewmirror, (profile says you have a 2004 4runner - this deal is for the 3.4L)
2. the gunslinger: 1997 4runner, Finish?, CATS?, EGR?

I dont have the cash right now to throw down for a set, but when the trigger gets pulled on the GB I should.
Whats the difference between the single cat and dual cat headers? Does the single cat headers have a "cat delete" to take the place of the forward cat on dual cat rigs? That way they only have to make set of headers and add a extra length of tube for the single cat rigs?

"There are actually a few differences EGR and non-EGR. The EGR comes with an entirely new custom EGR tube and accompanying hardware. As it was stated before, there is also the extended tube where the first cat would be on the NON-EGR. The cost of the EGR version will be a little more due to the extra materials and labor."

I was referring to what the gentleman called an "O2 sensor" on the Y-pipe. The prototype and production model installed on Chris' truck has the EGR on the Y-pipe, (shown clearly in the pictures).
The earlier models, (96, 97, 98), tend to have EGR. the gunslinger has a 97.
I'll forward the comments over to Chris to make certain.
