tacoma leaf spring measurement?
I just got my 8 pack deaver leaf springs for my 2000 ext cab taco. I measured eye to eye on the deaver springs and it's about 52 inches. I measured the truck from eye to eye and it's more like 54 inches. I know the springs will flatten out some when they get some weight on them, but do these measurements seem to make sense? I wouldn't have thought they'd flatten out to lengthen 2 or more inches with a little weight on them.

Yes they will. I have installed many of those.
Big $$$ leafs. They are really soft desert race leafs, hence being so soft, difference in length.
Getting the shackles on a is PITA with the leafs "shorter". If you go to a Daystar longer shackle, it's easier.
