Mike, holy cow!
I was completely unaware that our suspicions were correct.
Even if you can get gears, you will have a long and slow trip home. The shop has you by the sack and there is not much of a way to get around that.

Can you rent a truck at uhaul or something and doilies to tow it back??

ok, here is the poop: after 6 hours of pay phone time, i was able to locate the gears in georgia. they are overnighting them to moab and i will take them over to grand junction, co to get them installed (hopefully) under warranty. if not under warranty at least i will have the leverage of the dealership to go after the (alleged) bonehead that installed my locker (allegedly) incorrectly. lance found the part # 41201.80189, $634.89 was the price quoted to me (thanx victor, but dan at american did not have any in stock -- wish i could have gotten his pricing). with the ~$100.00 shipping and around $3-400 labor this has turned out to be one h3ll of an expen$ive trip! assuming, of course, warranty does not kick in and i somehow lose the court case with the locker installer...
thanx all for the love!

See what happens when I don't spot you?
You guys are cool doods. I'd like to wheel with you more. I'll take you to some hard stuff. You'll like it.
We'll wheel again.
