I've got to change the spark plug on the 90 it seems. Tonight i changed the valve cover and now the truck is missing. This makes no sense at all, I know. I decided to pull the spark plug that was the bad one (when pulling the spark plug wire off this one, the truck doesn't run any worse than with it on, so it must be the culprit). So anyway, easier said than done. The spark plug, after I got it a few turns, is getting VERY tight. I've been down this road before with bolts, and it always ends with a stripped bolt. Any ideas or suggestions! I'm stuck.

Hit it with PB Blaster where it is now, then turn it back in, More PB Blaster, back out some more, More PB, etc..... Just work it a bit till it feels good and loose so like you said, it doesn't get stripped. WD-40 would probably work too, but the PB Blaster is by far the best for penetrating into the threads.

Yes, that is very good stuff. I used it when working on turbo exhaust manifolds. I was lucky (or is that dumb?) enough to figure out my problem though. Turns out I must have knocked the fuel injector wire lose on that cylinder. I plugged it back on and all's well. I think when I have a good few hours to spend, I'll PB all the spark plugs and change them out and use some anti-sieze when I put the new ones in.

A never-seize like product works well on spark plugs. Makes the next time much easier

True. That's not much help for the "first time" though.

nope.... at my wok we always use antiseize on every spark plug we install....
