Ok well, I am new to trucks and everything, im very interested. Im 16, and I own a 87 yota pickup xtra cab 2.8 EFI. Is It worth putting money into the engine or am I going to even be able to get much hoarse power and torque from a 4-cyl. engine? Now this may be a totally moronic questio to all of you, but please help me out ! im here to learn! ha

Yes, so I have herd they are tough engines, but is it worth putting money into it, and if so, where should I start? What should I do? Any cool things would be appriciated, Ive been surfing the net for days now trying to get ideas.

down with LC! go to engnbldr.com for your parts.
honestly with all the stuff ive done to mine, i could have put in a ford 302 for the same price with the same mpg and with twice the hp and tq.
if youre just looking to boost power and fun alittle, a pacesetter header is cheap and functional, conmbine it to a good free flowing exhuast, cam and intake mod and you'll notice the difference.
