I went to a local offroad store today just for ลลลลs and gigles and i ask for lifts for my truck..she says yea skyjacker makes two

4" which is $1000...screw that and 4" is wayyy to much

2.5" for $225 which used coil spacers....they dont make it anymore and im wondering if anyone knows where i can get one of these lifts?

this may be a stupid question, but how would you use coil spacers on a truck with leaf springs? i think they gave the price for a 2nd gen lift. for a little less money you could go with an ome 2" lift. i'm currently having that installed, tomorrow it'll be ready.

1st gen has torsion bars, so coil spacers won't do you much good

hahaha thanks kyle good thing i didnt buy that kit from them....it sounds like they dont really know anything about yotas there...they didnt have ANY parts in stock for yotas nor did they know much...im gonna have them do installation if i buy a lift online anyways though...they cant screw me over no matter what because ill pay with a credit card...as long as theres not a rediculus insallation charge..

if there is..maybe a wrench-a-thon would be in order...although nobody around here mods yotas so i guess that wont work..

i dont trust myself with the suspension enough to do the lift myself...if i screwd up a little bit theres no going back to fix it when the axles fall off at 45mph...

There are plenty of good Toyota guys hanging around PA. Check out Keystone Krawlers. You have to register and make a post in the newbie section, and then you'll be able to view the other sections. A lot of great people on there. Maybe not a lot in Pittsburgh, but there are probably a few.

Do some searching on YotaTech and on 4x4Wire for info on ball joint spacers for the front of your rig. They're about $120 and give you a 1.5" lift up front. Then throw some lift shackles in the rear and you can easily run 32"s. That's what I'm currently using. A lot cheaper than a 4" lift and it wheels just as good. Add a 1" body lift to that and you can clear 33"s.

as others said, coil spacers won't work in the front. i cracked a spring last week, and rather than buying toyota oem springs, i took the opportunity to go with a lift. it's my daily driver, so i wanted to keep the lift reasonable. the ome is just new springs for the rear and new shocks all the way around. to even it out, i'm cranking the tbars up front. if the ride turns out to be too harsh, i'll get 1.5" ball joint spacers and put them in. i think the lift was ordered directly from the ome importers in seattle, but i'm not sure, i just had my shop order it for me.
