skid plate bolts stuck
Has anyone had a problem removing the 2 rear bolts on the skid plate (02 tacoma 2.7)? Those baby's are seized something fierce. I'm hoping to avoid having to cut the skid plate off if possible. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've had stuck skid pan bolts because the gorilla at Jiffy Lube tightened the piss out of it. (I normally do all my oil changes but had just had back surgery and told the wife to take it to Toyota, well they had a really long wait so she took it to dumba$$ lube).
Anyways I used a impact wrench set to the LOWEST setting and it rattled them loose. On my Nissan I have had stick skid bolts and heated them with a propane torch and them sprayed allot of PB blaster (the heat made it suck in REALLY good).
After the PB blaster got sucked in I let it sit for a couple of hours and SHAZAAM its came loose no problems.
I would first try the PB blaster then go to the impact wrench on low setting. What ever you do, don't try and brute force it out because those bolts snap easy and are a bitch to easy out.
