Also it is black so I wont have to get it painted, which also made my day. It should be here around tuesday or wednesday. Ill fire some pics up here when I get her all put on and installed.
Also its goin on a 98 4runner so this should be interesting. Anyone have any pics of it being on a later modle 4runner.

definitely scored there! i just bought a new toyota hood and all the little things that go with it unpainted for $412 with my 20% discount, then $280 for painting with another discount, and the hassle of putting those damned rivets in the scoop part! that's awesome, i wish they made a sport hood in my color so i could have done what you did and have a FACTORY match and paint job. can't wait for the pics.

Well I got the hood, It is in pretty good condition. it had a toyota bug deflector on it that was all loose and busted also it had a bunch of thoes nipple things across the hood so i had to take thoes off. The hood just needs a good buffin and some compound on it and she will be good as new!
Here are some pics. Sorry about the quality, my brother is borrowing my other one.
Here it is in the back of the truck before I took the bug deflector off.
Before
No Hood
New Hood!!
I will get more pics once it isnt so cold out and I can put some time into cleaning her up.

Personally I think they look better on lighter colors...it contrasts with the scoop even more.
Dude, you scored huge on that find! I paid the $tealership for mine, and even with a discount I paid like $400 or so for all the parts, then had to fork out another $400 for a good tri-coat paintjob to match it. I think it was worth it though...it looks so much more aggressive. Welcome to the club.
