...so i get my lift done through the new rims with 285 nittos on an the backside of the rim hits the calpier i have temporarilly places washers behind the rim and installed them...the only thing i dont like is the lugs...4 turns and there tight. I plan on going out tommrrow and getting 1/8 wheel spacers, but i would like to get extended studs....anyone off the top of there head know which studs would fit in the rotor and be about 1/4" longer???

i got 5/16 spacers for the wheels now all i need to find is a 50mm stud because the oem 40mm are to short. i went to the parts store and it turns out almost every toyota 4x4 use the same studs! does anyone know a source that sells longer studs for toyota's ???????????

sorry to not answer your question... but you are def right, from what I understand, 6-7 full turns is the bare minimum, hope you find new ones soon!
