Removed cargo area carpet.
Well that tears it....literally. I'm a mountain bikin', rodeo kayakin' skier, and I am D*mn sick of wet carpets, despite all my liners in the back. I bit the bullet tonight and cut the carpet seam between my rear passenger, and the back cargo area. I'll finally be able to pull that sucker out and dry it right. Maybe I shouldn't be so lazy and tie down my gear properly...or not.

I too have the same prob. Always gettin wet and dirty.was thinking about tearin out all the rear cargo carpet and line-x'ing it. That'd be schweeet! Then alls i'd have to do is hose it out and let drip dry.

Get one of these. I had one in my 93 Runner and put one in my 02. These have stood up to battery acid and are perfect for dumping a pile of wet neoprene waders and muddy wet boots on.
