Good evening kids I need some advice again, I have a 2002 Runner Tow almost everyday for work and when not towing I have my mountain bike gear and camping gear or tools or whatever in the back. I have plans for a Aonoran steel rear bumper as well as a ARB or TJM up front Winch you ask but of course, and what good rig would be without sliders. Soooo as the title says where to buy and what

Yes I think the choice is evidentand I will need the Heavy Kit
Also for a lift this minor will Extended brake lines be required? or a replacement Panhard trac bar and bracket? What about a differential drop spacer as well? hope to hear from you soon.

scrap all of that and search for the TUNDRA/OME Lift

there is enough reading to keep you occupied for a couple of hours

if you are always towing..maybe a tranny cooler ...
and a supercharger..LOL

Ive have read about this but how does it compare performance? Cost difference? I kinda hit a dead end before when I started researching the tundra coil lift maybe I didnt look hard enough. I already have a tranny cooler not in the market for the Super charger though I did see a Lexuse IS300 with the 3.4 and 950HP that would be a good swap ..

Yea the price really isnt my primary concern reliability and performace are the key. Hmm cool enough so that takes care of the front end so the rear end just do OME like I planned or is there some trick system for that as well will there be anything additional for the rear? Spacer what not?

Ok this sounds good too but none of the items in this link are OME so do I

A. nix the OME and use the factory parts listed

B. Use the OME struts and OE toyota stuff

C. scratch my ass drink 4 car bombs and then attempt to order

by the way I know what the OME lift looks like anyone have pics of thier Full toyota lift? If its on Sonoran Steel I've seen it. But there still lingers the other question about the Extended brake lines the panhard bar/ bracket and the diff drop spacers?

Here is exactly what you want to do the OEM/OME lift


Toyota coils:
LF coil: 48131-AF100 ( Tundra )
RF coil: 48131-AF090 ( Tundra )
LR coil: 48131-6A570 ( 7 coil FJ80 )
RR coil: 48131-6A480 ( 7 coil FJ80 )

Front:
OME N91S struts
3/8 top up spacer(s) and longer studs- one possibly 2
1" front diff drop

Rear:
OME N86 shocks
Drop panhard bar

i suggest either option A or B....

Option A is layed out in the link i gave you, Option B is what Mr. Bob wrote above...its your call either way, they're both excellent setups.

With that setup, how much does it lift the front and rear? Ride quality? rear sag?

Those LC front springs in the rear of a 3rd gen runner give anywhere between 2.5" -3"s of lift, depending pn rear bumper and rear cargo ect...

Those tundra springs net 1.5" - 2" and then using 1 or 2 - 3/8" top up spacers make up for the rest...

Ride quality from what I understand is identical to stock... and if you get a used set of LC spring measuring 19" - 19.5" there will not be any sag, as the springs will have already settled...

Hope this helps... I have mine on order, will be here this week... when I get them installed I can give a full report!!!

you probably will not want to use the LC coils for the rear if you tow every Day. They are a little to soft if you do alot of towing. Check out the LC coil thread i believe someone towed with these coils and changed back to OME. But definalty go with tundra setup for the front.

I tow a 5x12 encosed trailer tongue weight maybe 150- 250 lbs. or a open 6x12 open w/air compressor a quad and tools tongue weight hmmm 200-300 lbs.

I tow my 5'x8' utility trailer a lot, plus motorcycles and the occasional car. I have the OME coils in the rear and have not had any issues with sag. My vote is for the Tundra setup in front w/ spacers, OME shocks all around with OME coils in the rear
