just got back from a night out. no more nitrous left in the bottle. well there is some but since it was cold there wasn't enough pressure to push it out. but anyway, civics are way way way way WAY slow now. mustang gt's are ok. not too bad against them now. the main thing is their top speed. that's what gets me. the v6 hyundai tiburons, slow. a lot of stuff is slow now. the only things i got beat by tonight were a buick grand national, VERY fast, and a few mustang gt's. so if you do want to show people what a toyo is capable of, without doing turbo or super, go with nitrous.

I was looking into the heavy machining last year but could not find anyone to do it locally and it was going to run $2600.00 +. I like the methanol idea and will look into it.

With current mods, I can hold 12 to 1 with best performance at the track at 12.5 to 1. It is maxxed out I agree.

Looking a the mods list in your sig, I'd suggest your next step to be injectors, then headers and a 2.5" exhaust from the downtubes back. With the S/C, the stock exhaust is too restrictive for max power.
Good info Mark ... Thanks

YEOW Jeff! Golly jeepers that's a boatload of cash for a chunk of metal!

There are a couple of mising systems out there, most people swear by the Aquamist system, Gadget's selling 'em for a decent price.

I have my eye on something a bit more custom... The issue I have with Aquamist is that it's either on or off, and I'd rather be able to have more control than that. The SMT module I run has a 3rd map channel in it that will let me setup a custom curve for controlling something on the outside - like a misting system.

Yeah... you should be aiming for 11.5:1 at WOT. Keep an eye on eBay for Supra injectors. I got my set of 305's for $100. Some folks will say that 305's are too small, but I still have PLENTY of room up top to add more fuel.

Buick Grand Nationals are ridonculous......I've heard of alot of them being crazy fast. Thats pretty cool tho. Maybe after I do a rebuild and this and that, I can get some N2O for fun, I'm sure it would help me on the interstate.

yeah go for it bob. if you rebuild it tough enough you could probably do a 125 shot or higher. that would be really fun. if i had the money to rebuild mine tougher i would do it and run like a 150 shot or so. but in order for it to be able to run that you would have to do some real work. and it would help you out on the interstate for if you need to pass someone real fast, if it's above 3000 with the stock cam, so you get that power pull with it. everyone here should know what that rpm does in the 22re.

someone should tell the tundra owner that the lowered tailgate technique is a myth
