Minimum thickness for front rotors
Does anyone know the minimum thickness in order to turn front rotors on a 2001 4wd with 16 inch rims. I am debating new rotors but need to order them in advance. However I got 70k on the original set so I may not have much wear and might be able to continue to use the tactory rotors if I get them turned.

Here's some info for you.
Rotor Standard Thickness (New): 0.866"
Rotor Minimum Thickness: 0.787"
There is no set minimum thickness required to turn them... it depends how badly they are warped. Typically, the guy would remove 0.010" (maybe 0.015") per side, so a total of 0.020"-0.030" off your total thickness. I like to see a thickness of at least 0.830" before I get them turned if they are really bad.
