Limited slips: bad in snow?

I think a selectable locker for everyday driving is overkill and somewhat inconvenient. I still say for onroad: LSD. Offroad: selectable locker.
Install an LSD and forget about it, it does the guess work for you. Allows you to drive normally w/open diffs until it's needed, then it simply kicks in. I.E. Slamming on the gas when the light changes from red to green.
If you're not needing the locker for offroad use, I don't think it's much onroad help. It makes turning very difficult, it puts strain on other drive components (including tires) & you have to think about using or not using it. The LSD just lets driving happen and won't allow one wheel to spin excessively more than the other automatically.
