I always look forward to my trips up north for Christmas knowing that I will get to put my truck through its paces, but alas, a lack of vacation time means that this year we fly north and leave her behind.
As has been stated already, slow down! It is easy to get cocky when you feel how well your Runner GOES in the snow, but snow or ice make stopping or even just turning an adventure. AND when you choose a parking lot to play in just be sure that there are no concrete curbs hidden under the blanket of snow!

I hope we have a blizzard like we had in spring of '03 and got 41" here in south Denver and the foothills saw nearly 5 feet.
The mountains are getting dumped on but we still have only seen a few inches here and there along the foothills.

I just had my first taste of snow of the year, I decided to go up to stevens pass and hike up and go snowboarding on friday, and when i was up there i decided to hit up some Back roads that go up to cabins, and one of them goes to the top of the other mountain across the street. I made it pretty far considering i was in 2wd most the time and my tires were at 40 psi.
Heres a couple pics.
