I just bought this 1997 4runner
I just bought this 97 4runner for $6600, what do u guys think?
Im picking it up Sunday

149,000 miles is alot but it looks like its in good shape. I just didnt want to deal with my 3.slow anymore. Even if I had to rebuild this one, it would be easier than puting the 3.4 in my 94.
Anyone interested in a 94 4runner in Southern CAl! It does have some issues. I will be putting it in the classified section.

I think it sucks, but it might just be the fact I don't want to come to grips with the idea that such a nice 4Runner as that only costs $6600.... Mine must not be worth as much as I'd like!
It looks good! Congrats.

Hehe,I was gonna comment on that "old school" Alpine too.
I think since the 4th gens have been out a while it's hurt the value of 3rd gens unless you got below average miles and 150k is a bit above average but that truck looks in better condition than my '97 was and I sold mine for just over $11k but then again almost anything AWD or 4wd sells well here in Colorado.

Very good buy....no worries on the high miles at all (hope the headgasket was done under TSB, if not oh well....that deal is over).
You couldn't touch a truck like that around here for less than 10-12k (USD) still (maybe CA doesn't care about 4WD).
You could certainly make a few bucks on flipping it too.
