So did you get that big ol powerful mag lite to look under your seats for change so you can upgrade to the 4cell? I am thinking just for scof I need to get a 2 double a purple mag lite and mount mine there but do a complete write up on it with PICS

I mounted it there, FYI, because when I'm setting up my campsite I often find that my cargo lights aren't tossing the light where I want it, I'm always in the rear of the truck when I need my flashlight.

I don't like the 4D's either, they're too damn big.

Picture this campsite, but at night...

With the tailgate opened up, and cooking dinner on the gate. One cargo light facing toward the tent and one facing down in the cargo area. It's nice to have a Maglite mounted in my working space for when I have to piss or dig around in the tent.

Don't camp much eh?

That's a great location - especially when the rear window craps itself and won't roll down. j/k

Looks good - I like the clip.

Just digging around in my files and found another nice shot of that campsite.

I think that was the best trip I have ever had. It was so gorgeous!

Damn you winter!

There is a dog in the shade in that photo, and a puppy and a half naked girl out of the frame somewhere

I like camping alone though, kicking back with a good book and a beer and watching the sun go down on top of a mountain. *sigh*

One good thing about the tundra, there isn't any bloody trees

Bears can't sneak up on you because you can see them coming for miles.

maglite mods are cool.

even if you don't have a true maglite. but now i've got one of those fancy LED lights and, well, it's nice.

nice mod scofco. i like those extra lights you got back there too.

Quick Reply: I finally did the Maglite mod.
