Hydraulic Clutch Problems

well the last 2 times i have bled the clutch it worked great for about a week then it has been back to not working right.
now my clutch fluid is dark, like coca cola dark, so i know either the master or slave cylinder i put in isn't any good. I'm leaning towards the master cylinder because when i put in the slave nothing changed and every since i put a master cylinder in it has been a nightmare to get it to work right

I did have the clutch slip on me once, i had 4 people in the truck, and a full tank of gas, i had the rear end locked and went to heel toe it and all i got was clutch smoke lol
I've been nicer to it since
