How far can you go with coil spacers...
well, my Bro-in-law just picked up an 03 reg cab Taco a cpl of days ago. It appears to have 2 1/2 inch coil spacers in the front end, with a set of extended greasable shackles in the rear. At first glance it does not appear that the front diff has been dropped. Just to clear this up does it need to be dropped and if so, how much. Also on tire size for his truck it's running 286/75 16 G/Y MTR's on the factory alloys. They seem a little oversized to me and a little too close to the upper control arm. I couldn't fit my finger between the tire and the arm. I'm trying to convince him to do something about it. Thanks.

I can get you what ur BIL needs. Spacers are ok for street but not much for wheeling. Get some coils and a diff drop and perhaps some ext shocks. I can install it if you don't think yall can handle it.
Let me know via email, much faster.

The truck's going to be his DD, with light use for going hunting. So it'll only be offroad maybe 5% of the time. He likes to wheel', but this truck is super clean with only 42,000 on it. I imagine that it'll be sometime before it gets wheeled for fun. Thanks for the input and the offer Wab.

for the tires close to the control arm get some wheel spacers... i have 1.5in wheel spacer all around and it gives it a way more agressive look... i like it.
