EFI relay burns out when truck is cranked
ok, i am going to do a trade off for a 1996 toyota tacoma with 4 wheel drive and a 5speed. the only problem with the vehicle is that everytime it is cranked the efi relay goes out (or the fuse the person wasnt really specific) and the owner claims that he had installed a lift-kit and thats where the problem started he claims. now my question, do any of you guys think that there could be a unplugged wire or a loose ground somewhere? i have read some where that if the O2 sensor melts on the exhaust header the efi relay (or fuse) will blow out, i havent been to the truck to look at it yet so, i couldnt tell you anything about it. but any ideas on what could be happening would be appreciated.

Did he do a body lift? I could see some problems happening if a big body lift was installed and something happened with the wires getting stretched too far with the body lift... so it could be almost anywhere. :/
If it was a suspension lift, that makes no sense.

well when i go look at the truck i will be able to tell what is going on as far as the wiring issue, and on the thing about the lift kit, i really dont know which one, but i do have a hunch that he put multiple grounds in one spot, or forgot to hook something up at this point.
