Previas do NOT have a 4x4 option, Previas have an AWD option. Not the same thing. The friggin Subaru is AWD, and no one would confuse that with a real 4x4 now would they? Bluefever has a vision, and I kinda like it. But I think he knows not what he asks...
I feel your pain man, I'm with you Kyle. I still prefer the 1979 to 1989 body styles. Y' know, back when they HAD style. The newer ones are so... plain... they look just like every other what-have-you out there... (that's why mine has a bit of a paint job - it does NOT blend in with the crowd....)

Never mind obviously no one on here knows a single thing about the subject except for how to make fun of Previa's and the Original Van,so I'll find out for myself or go to a different forum, this has been nothing but a waste of my time, and this site was actually suggested to me?

Well this is a forum for toyota trucks and 4runners not Previas. We have no experience with the engines or trannys that are in them and the scant info you provide leaves room for little else. If you have a serious question, try to get as much info as possible and then come here and ask. If you want us to do the leg work for you, you're gonna get delt to. With a mid engine design and no frame you would be better as everyone here said and either buy the all trac version, or get a donor truck and mate the Previa body to that frame. There may be options available to you but we have no idea what engine is in the van your trying to mod, or anything else about it. Some may know but this isn't an easy thing to do, so probably no one has done it. Can it be done? Sure if you got the money and knowledge we'll get you to the moon. The trans may even except gears from another trans. To add a transfer case you're probably going to have to add a solid front axle and without a frame it would be impossible or near it anyways. dropping the body on a donor frame is the easiest as suggested. Just don't get pissy cause we, like you, have little or no info on what the hell it is you want to do.

Clean up the man tears and comprehend what folks are trying to tell you.
It's a waste of money and no one has real knowledge on how to undertake your idea.
For the money you're likely to waste--yes waste--you can spend it on a trail rig or pass some on to me to make my rig trail worthy.

Yeah man, what he said. I am like 98% sure you aren't going to be able to put a transfer case on your tranny that you have. A bigger problem yet, you are gonna have a hell of a time putting a front axle/however you are gonna put power to the front wheels on a unibody vehicle. I'll bet the only way it is even possible to do what you want is to get complete toyota 4wd drivetrain and frame, and somehow put the previa body on top of that. While I'm sure that is "possible" it is sure as heck not feasible for ya. If you want a 4wd, why not get a pickup or a 4runner? It going to cost a whole lot less and be a lot easier to build the way you want it. Also, if you decided you didn't want the damn thing, you could sell it. If you have the money, tools, and time, I'm sure you could make a 4wd previa. However, it's not gonna be easy. Good luck bro.

Look, you really have to admire those guys in the vans. I mean, they look like they're having a good time, and the vans seem to work fine for what they want. It just looks funny as heck, though.

Those old twinkie vans (good call!) were sure funny. With the overhangs, especially in front, the wide(ish) body with narrow track, they just look like a handling nightmare. But-- I drove one (to pick up an Aerostar from a dealer) from Eugene down to Medford one night - horrible rain, basting winds, snow on the higher elevations - you know, typical winter night in Oregon - and damned if that thing wasn't a dream to drive! I really enjoyed it! Stable as a rock, cornered like a car, comfortable. Drove the brand new Aerostar back - holy crap what a POS!!

Those vans are a prized posession for illegal aliens on the hunt for an easy vehicle to rip off. Strange but true. They steal them all the time. Reliable, carries a lot of people, and easy to steal. But slow as molasses.
