Hi everyone I'm new to the forum.

I got a question on my 01 4Runner 4X4 I have had brake vide fo long time now, I had the rotors turned and it helped for about a few days, Then i went out and bought NEW ROTORS last night and put them on and the dam thing still has a bad brake vibe!!!!!!

No they are not Toyota rotors but I did put new Toyota brake pads on when i had the rotors turned. My Runner has 168k on it and nothing wrong with it the cv boots look great no leaks ball joints are in good shape

WTF what should i do or have any of you guys had this happen to you?

Does it only vibrate when you apply pressure to the brake? If this is the case your rotors may be bad. You should have looked at the old brake pads to see if they're wearing evenly, and check for any leaks. This is where I would start after I had the rotors turned or replaced (which you've already done).

Yea just when i apply pedal pressure the pads looked good, even wear.

Sorry I didn't mean rotors I meant calipers. They have kits that you can buy (that are pretty cheap) where you can replace the guts of the caliper. The other thing is check the torque on the lug nuts, I think it should be 95 lbs but I'm not 100% on that. But calipers would be my next suspect.

The rear brakes may be the culprit here as well.

Both can wobble thru the pedal.

Let it also be known that you really need to seat the new pads to a rotor or drum. That means as soon as you finish bleeding you start turning the tires whilst gently applying pressure to the brake pedal. do this over and over. then take it around the block gently applying pressure. As soon as you stomp on the brakes while moving it warps the rotor. Some a lot, some just slightly.

example.....just finished a complete brake job on my old dodge. Went thru the exact procedure. Next day some boob pulled out in front of me and i screeched to a halt. Instant warpage.

make sure your tires are balanced that will make a vibration too

i second the torque on lug nuts. overtorquing can cause warping. hmm...since its only w/ brake pressure, most likely not the culprit, but you might check caster (or whole alignment)

Trouble shooting is always fun. I just replaced my pads with some Hawks and rotors to Powerslots. Before the change i had the same issue...now its all good now.

make sure the rear shoes are adjusted correctly. if they are not the front brakes are doing all the stopping and are over heating causing the warping.
