Brake controller location

I was wondering if some of you that have brake controllers installed in your 3rd gens could post some pics or give a detailed description of the location. Looking to get this done this weekend and want some ideas. Thanks for your help!!

Old one, but it works great. Remember if it has a manual control you want it within arms reach.

Extend the wires and mount it in your center console so it's out of the way.

most brake controllers dont mount at 90*, and thats a hard place to get to when you need to adjust it, and when you need to adjust a controller you NEED to adjust it.

Can't you mount the ones that don't require adjustment at any angle? The one my dad has in his 250 doesn't require adjustment, but his is a lot newer than the one I have. Also if it is in the console you don't have access to the manual lever, unless you drive with the lid open (assuming it has a manual lever).

Thanks guys. Got it installed today and did it just like HarrisonP. It fits well there and is easily reached for the manual control. And best of all, it is a lifesaver for pulling a larger trailer.
