Bilstein/KYB and Lift

Alright, Im thinking about going the cheaper route and buying either Bilsteins or KYB shocks, instead of OME.

Now my question is: If I lift my 3rd gen via spacers/longer coils, will I need a longer shocks? Im looking to get either 2.5" - 3" of lift.

If I do, which I think I will need longer shocks, could anyone give me the model # for either the KYB or Bilstein shocks, and where to buy them online?

When I do searches online, I can only find the stock length shocks for the 4Runner, I cannot find where I can buy the longer length ones.

Thanks!!!

You won't need longer front shocks. That's why you can't find them.

Yeah, the front makes sense...

What about the rear shocks...They seem like they would need to be longer. Of course, I just checked Steve shaffer's site, and he is using the regular length shocks.

I guess that will work...?

Im going with the OME. I'll get spacers later on if I really want them.

Im using the orginal Bilstein shocks for my rears. Im running the Revtek lift. I've had no bottoming out yet, but the lift limits articulation. So I guess adding a longer shock and extended break line would help in the rear. The local toyota lift guy recomened the cheap pro-comp 9000 series. He said anything nitrogen charged would help with the articulation/ travel
