Best Trailer Setup?
Guys I just got a 98 manual trans 4x4 4runner.
I need to get a trailer setup to the frame. I can't believe it doesn't have one, but at least I know it wasn't used to tow.
Can you suggest the best brand? I will be towing about 3k lbs. I've heard Reese is good. What about Uhaul brand?
I have a spare tire down there now, will that need to be removed?
Thank you!

I don`t know first hand but I hear tell Uhaul uses a lot of universal hitches in what they do it cuts down on inventory .
Most all the major brands are ok but lots have sourced to China.
Over the past few years.
It all comes down to what you want and what can be had local.
Build one yourself.
The spare does not need to be moved for most hitches
Depending where you live I have never been able to get a spare down without cutting.
